Configuration & Playing
In development
This world is currently in development, which means you must manually place some files in certain locations. The releases page has all of the files you need. Use the Archipelago Launcher's Browse Files
button to find the Archipelago directory.
star_fox_64.apworld
- This needs to go in theMultiworldGG/custom_worlds/
folder. You can also double click this file to have Archipelago do this for you.connector_sf64_bizhawk.lua
- If you will be using Bizhawk, this needs to go in theArchipelago/data/lua/
folder. The/autostart
command can do this for you.
Patched ROM
Once star_fox_64.apworld
is in the correct location, you will find the Star Fox 64 Client
in the Archipelago Launcher. When you start this client for the first time, it will ask you to provide the original Star Fox 64 v1.1
ROM. Once provided, the client will then generate a patched ROM in the MultiworldGG folder. This patched ROM can be used for all generated seeds of the same version. The location of the original ROM will be saved and automatically used to patch new versions.
Generic instructions
