Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a multiworld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Levelsanity

Choose how you want missions to be sent in the multiworld. Levels logically require the level access item and at least 1 car from that level or higher. You're guaranteed to start with a level and it's default car with either option. Linear will add progressive levels to the pool. You'll start with Level 1 and the Family Sedan, then get the next level each time you receive a progressive level item. Levels will add levels to the pool. You'll start the game with a random level and it's required items and receive levels from the multiworld. Regardless of your choice, missions can be played in any order on an unlocked level.

Move Randomizer

Choose whether or not to shuffle moves into the item pool. Moves that are shuffled are Double Jump and Attack for each character. These have logical implications for wasp and card collection as well as L7M4 requiring Homer Double Jump.

Starting Jump Level

Choose how many Progressive Jump items to start with for each character. This option is always 2 if MoveRando is False. CARD LOGIC IS CURRENTLY INCORRECT IF STARTING WITH 0 JUMPS

Shuffle Gagfinder

If enabled, add a Gagfinder to the pool for each Character that will be required to unlock gags as that character. If disabled, gags will instead be locked until you receive their Level.

Shuffle Checkered Flags

If enabled, add a Checkered Flag to the pool for each Character that will be required to unlock races as that character. If disabled, races will instead be locked until you receive their Level.

Shuffle E-Brake

Choose whether to shuffle ability to use the E-Brake for each character into the item pool. *WARNING* This is not considered in logic and has not been heavily tested. It may create unreasonably hard seeds.

Whether to include Wasps in goal requirements. This setting is always treated as true if your goal is Goal: Wasps and Cards Collected!

Percent of Wasps required to goal if Wasp Requirements is enabled.

Shuffle Cards

Randomize card locations. This option adds several possible locations for cards. There will still be 49 total cards with 7 in each level.

Card and Wasp Logic

Choose logic level for cards and wasps. Carless: Cars are not considered at all in this logic level and cards that cannot be reached without them are not available locations for ShuffleCards. Note that the card on Level 6 that requires the Itchy and Scratchy Truck will still require it if ShuffleCards is false. Cars: Cars are considered in whether you can reach a card. Glitched: Glitches and speedrunning tricks are considered in whether you can reach a card. ***CURRENTLY ONLY CARLESS LOGIC LEVEL IS SUPPORTED, OTHER OPTIONS WILL RAISE AN ERROR AND FAIL GENERATION

Raise Cards

Many of the available card locations for shuffling have low logical requirements. This option will choose a number of cards based on the percent set here and increase their height so that they require Double Jump to reach. This option does nothing if ShuffleCards is set to False. THIS OPTION IS CURRENTLY UNIMPLEMENTED, IT WILL HAVE NO EFFECT

Min Shop Price

The minimum cost of any item in Gil's Shop. If this is greater than the max shop price, then the max will be used instead.
