Game Options
Progression Balancing
A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early.
A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.
Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99
The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
- 0: Disabled
- 50: Normal
- 99: Extreme
Accessibility
Set rules for reachability of your items/locations.
**Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired.
**Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.
Logic Percent
Sets the maximum percent similarity required for a check to be in logic.
Higher values are more difficult and items/locations will not be generated beyond this number.
This is a range option.
Accepted values:
Normal range: 50 - 95
Goal Percent
Sets the percent similarity required to achieve your goal.
If this number is higher than the value for logic percent,
reaching goal will be in logic upon obtaining all progression items.
This is a range option.
Accepted values:
Normal range: 50 - 95
Half Percent Checks
Sets the lowest percent at which locations will be created for each 0.5% of similarity.
Below this number, there will be a check every 1%.
Above this number, there will be a check every 0.5%.
This is a range option.
Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 95
Quarter Percent Checks
Sets the lowest percent at which locations will be created for each 0.25% of similarity.
This number will override Half Percent Checks if it is lower.
This is a range option.
Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 95
Canvas Width Increment
Sets the number of pixels the canvas will expand for each width item received.
Ensure an adequate number of locations are generated if setting this below 50.
Canvas Height Increment
Sets the number of pixels the canvas will expand for each height item received.
Ensure an adequate number of locations are generated if setting this below 50.
Aspect Ratio
Sets the aspect ratio of your final image. Useful when using a custom goal image, also affects game length.
Possible options are fullscreen (800x600), widescreen (800x450), square (800x800), fullscreen vertical (600x800),
and widescreen vertical (450x800).
Starting Tool
Sets which tool (other than Magnifier) you will be able to use from the start.
Trap Fill Percent
Sets the percentage of filler items to be replaced by random traps.
This is a range option.
Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 100
Trap Blacklist
These types of traps will not be generated into the item pool nor received from Trap Link.
Possible traps are "Undo Trap", "Clear Image Trap", "Invert Colors Trap", "Flip Horizontal Trap",
"Flip Vertical Trap", "Help Trap", "Zoom In Trap", "Zoom Out Trap", "Tool Swap Trap".
Trap Link
Received traps will be simultaneously sent to other players with trap link on. This also works in reverse.
Death Link
If on, using the Undo or Clear Image functions will send a death to all other players with death link on.
Receiving a death will clear the image and reset the history.
This option also adds Undo and Clear Image traps to the trap blacklist.
Item & Location Options
Local Items
Forces these items to be in their native world.
Non-local Items
Forces these items to be outside their native world.
Start Inventory
Start with the specified amount of these items. Example: "Bomb: 1"
Start Inventory from Pool
Start with the specified amount of these items and don't place them in the world. Example: "Bomb: 1"
The game decides what the replacement items will be.
Start Hints
Start with these item's locations prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.
Start Location Hints
Start with these locations and their item prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.
Excluded Locations
Prevent these locations from having an important item.
Priority Locations
Prevent these locations from having an unimportant item.
Item Links
Share part of your item pool with other players.
This option needs to be configured manually in the YAML file.
