Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Open Springleaf Path

Remove Demon Strings and Wind Barriers in Springleaf Path to enable entering other areas before getting Awakened Sacred Leaf/Sacred Anemone.

Deathlink

Link all player deaths together. If you die, all other players in the session (with deathlink enabled) also die. The same works the other way around.

Bell Hover Generation

Consider Bell Hover as a possible strat for world generation. Bell Hover is used to access certain areas without having the correct skill (i.e. Demon Frontier without Wall Jump) # With this setting on, you might need to get creative to access certain areas (i.e. using damage boost to reach a platform, speaking from experience)

Randomize Key items

Add Key Items needed for progression to the randomization pool and as location checks. These items are: Gold Moonlit Dust, Silver Moonlit Dust and Windmill Key.

Add Oracle Sigil

Add the Oracle Sigil to the item pool and as a location check. # Oracle requires to free all 30 Lumen Fairies, which can be a long task so it's recommended to have this setting off unless you really want to do this

Progressive Final Boss Keys

Add 4 progressive keys required to open the door to the Final Boss to the randomization pool. # With this enabled, defeating the 4 bosses before the final boss will no longer help to unlock the door

Progressive Damage Upgrade

Add the Heavenly Lilies to the item location check, as well as adding progressive damage upgrade to the itempool (each upgrade grants 2 extra damage)
