Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a multiworld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Game Difficulty

Set the ingame difficulty for all missions: - Casual: Unlimited saves, All Mission Story guides available, No surveillance cameras, Less enforcers, Forgiving combat, More items are legal to carry, NPCs are less attentive to sounds. - Professional: Unlimited saves, All Mission Story guides available, Surveillance cameras active, Cameras alert guards if illegal activity is spotted, Combat is challenging but fair. - Master: One save per mission, No Mission Story guides available, Extra surveillance cameras, Extra enforcers, Ruthless and demanding combat, Bloody eliminations ruin disguises, NPCs are more attentive to sounds.

Random Targets

Should random Targets be assigned to each Level. For each level, a random number of targets between min_number_of_targets and max_number_of_targets is chosen. If off, the vanilla targets will be chosen (Note: Carpathian Mountains will always remain vanilla.)

Complication Weights

When Random Complications is active, these weights determine the odds for each complication to be selected. If you don't want a specific complication, set its weight to 0.

Included Hitman 1 Levels

Include Locations from the following Hitman 1 Levels in the Location Pool valid options: ica_facility, paris, sapienza, marrakesh, bangkok, colorado, hokkaido

Included Hitman 2 Levels

Include Locations from the following Hitman 2 Levels in the Location Pool valid options: hawkes_bay, miami, santa_fortuna, mumbai, whittleton_creek, isle_of_sgail

Included Hitman 2 DLC Levels

Include Locations from the following Hitman 2 Expansion Levels in the Location Pool valid options: new_york, haven_island

Included Hitman 3 Levels

Include Locations from the following Hitman 3 Levels in the Location Pool valid options: dubai, dartmoor, berlin, chongqing, mendoza, carpathian_mountains, ambrose_island

Starting Level

Which level is unlocked from the start. If the selected level is not included in the "included_x_locations"options, it will be added to it.

Disable Annoying Sanitychecks

Removes specific Itemsanity and Disguisesanity locations that are annoying to collect. - skip_locations_with_wait_time: Removes locations that require you to wait for NPCs actions (ex. Wristwatch Alarm (Hawks Bay), Beak Staff (Whittleton Creek)) - skip_locations_with_extra_step: Removes locations that require multiple steps to spawn/obtain (ex. El Matador (Santa Fortuna), 47's Signature Suit with Gloves (Mendoza)) - skip_locations_carried_by_npcs: Removes locations that require you to kill/pacify an NPC to get an item they are carrying (ex. Cocaine Brick (Miami), Lethal Poison Pill Jar (Paris)) - skip_locations_requiring_other_items: Removes locations that require items, which require other items like keys (ex. Car Bomb (Miami), Cocaine Souvenir (Santa Fortuna)) - skip_buried_locations: Removes locations that require items which are buried and need a shovel to be dug up (ex. Goal

The goal condition for your Archipelago run. -level_completion: requires beating a specific level with a specific rating -contract_collection: shuffles a number of "Contract Piece" items into the item pool and requires the collection of them to instantly goal -contract_collection_level_completion: requires beating a specific level with a specific rating, after collecting a certain number of Contract Pieces from the item pool to unlock that level -number_of_completions: forces Contract Pieces to only be placed on beating each level with a specific rating and requires the collection of a number of them to instantly goal

Item Settings

Enable Item Packages

Adds multiple Item Packages one for each type of item (Pistol, Poison, Explosive etc.). When starting a mission with a package equipped, all unlocked and concealable items of that type will be added to 47's pocket. The "in_inventory" option adds the packages directly to your starting inventory. The "in_itempool" options adds the packages to the itempool and shuffles them to any check in the multiworld.

List of Items to not be shuffled the multiworld. Selected Items cannot be obtained ingame. Also accepts Itemgroups (ex.: "Agency Pickup - Any", "Starting Location - Any")
 

Excluded Starting Items

List of Items to not be shuffled into the multiworld. Selected Items will always be unlocked ingame. Also accepts Itemgroups (ex.: "Agency Pickup - Any", "Starting Location - Any") If an item is in both excluded_items and excluded_starting_items, excluded_starting_items takes priority.
 

Prioritized Filler Items

List of Items to always be shuffled into the multiworld. Selected Items will be included before any other non-progression Item, ensuring they are not left out if there are more items than checks. Also accepts Itemgroups (ex.: "Agency Pickup - Any", "Starting Location - Any")
 

Include Sniper Assassin Weapons

Include the Snipers from the Sniper Assassin gamemode in the itempool, making them usable in normal missions. Only available on game version HITMAN 3
