The player options page for this game contains all the options you need to configure and export a config file.

What does randomization do to this game?

As of right now, Dawn of Sorrow randomizes most items.

What is the goal when randomized?

There are a few selectable goals. Throne Room: Get to the Throne Room. Dario is replaced with Menace. Abyss: Defeat Menace in the Abyss. The Mine of Judgment is opened when the power of darkness is unleashed at the center of the castle. Abyss Plus: The same as Abyss, however you will be unable to trigger the power of darkness until you defeat Aguni in the throne room.

What items and locations get shuffled?

You can find any consumable, armor, weapon, money, or Souls. The Locations that are shuffled include all static item pickups, as well as all Boss Souls. The event items you get from Yoko and Arikado are placed on the ground instead. The 3 "easter egg" items are randomized, but their appearance does not change.

What happens when I receive an item?

When you receive an item, it should automatically be added into your game.

Changes from the Base Game

You will always have an item in your inventory called the Return Gem. If you find yourself stuck, you can use it to warp to the starting room.
